VGB: ACO on-line moisture measuring at vacuum band filters

The quality parameters of FGD (flue-gas desulfurization) gypsum at the power plant Lippendorf, Germany, are measured daily, Monday to Friday, in their own laboratory. An on-line moisture measurement is needed because of operation reasons to get measuring results continuously. Application and experiences with the used moisture measuring system are shown and discused.
