Moisture measuring of Slag sand

If slags won't be disposed at a landfill it might find its use as secondary raw material in the building industry as additive of cement. In the concrete industry it is very common to use moisture measuring sensor for the moisture determination of the individual aggregates. In the production of dry mortar it is possible to optimize the drying process as the ACO sensor is able to measure exactly the residual moisture of only 0,3%. This illustration shows an ACO sensor which is mounted by means of a slide onto a conveyor belt.
