This term includes all raw and building materials made of gypsum. That means you will find a wide variety of applications, from determining the moisture content of FGD gypsum (after flue gas desulphurisation in power plants) to gypsum before it will be calcined up to the measuring of finished gypsum fiberboards. Of course this material shows up in several textures (bulk good, boards, powder, sludge, etc.) and bound by a conform conveying system. Texture and conveying system build the basic conditions for choosing the best measuring location and finding a reasonable way to be implemented.

By the way: ACO sensors have been successfully used for on-line moisture measurement of FGD gypsum in power plants - for more than 10 years.
